Congcong is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Demography at the Centre d’Estudis Demogràfics (CED), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and is a participant in the European Doctoral School of Demography (EDSD). She obtained an M.A. in Demography from Shanghai University. Her research interests include healthy ageing, health disparities, living arrangements, mental health, health care, and public health policy.
