Maida Juni Garcia has earned a B.sc. in Sociology (Universidad de la República, Uruguay) and afterwards completed a M.Sc. in Sociology (Universitat de Barcelona, UB). Before starting the Ph. D. program at CED, she was enrolled as a tutor in the International course “Care policies with a gender perspective” dictated by the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO). The main lines of research are concentrated in Childcare, Family, Gender Equality and Care policies. Currently, she is matriculated in the Doctorate program in Demography in the UAB analyzing the impact of early childhood education services (0-3) in Spain, supervised by Albert Esteve and Alba Lanau.
