Lisa Scanu is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Demographic Studies (CED) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), where she is part of the ERC-funded DIGINEQ project. Within the project, she is involved in the mixed-methods and qualitative research components, investigating the effects of digital detoxes on adolescents. She holds a BA in European Studies from Maastricht University and an MSc in Social Inequalities from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and is currently completing a double MA in Sociology and Demography from the University of Trento and Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Her research combines qualitative interviews and quantitative data, with a focus on gender inequalities, education, youth, and digital behaviour.
