Benjamín Adasme Jara is currently Research Assistant in the ERC Starting Grant project ‘SINGLE: Understanding the Demography and Stratification of Singlehood in Europe.’, working directly with Ariane Ophir, principal investigator of the project.
Benjamín is a sociologist from Catholic University of Maule (Chile) and Master’s candidate in Statistics and Operations Research (UPC-UB, Spain), specialized in the analysis of territorial dynamics and socio-urban inequalities. He combines a strong foundation in social theory with advanced quantitative methods, including managing large-scale databases, statistical programming, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). His experience in research projects and consultancy has allowed him to develop skills in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, as well as in disseminating results to academic and non-academic audiences.
