Legal compliance

In compliance with Regulation (EU) 241/2021 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 February 2021, the Centre for Demographic Studies (CED) has drawn up a Plan of Anti-Fraud Measures, with the aim of protecting the financial interests of the EU.

 

All the CED employees share this commitment, assuming as their duties: to act in the general interest, subject to and in compliance with the Constitution, the Statute of Autonomy and the rest of the legal system, and to act in accordance with the principles of objectivity, integrity, neutrality, responsibility, impartiality, confidentiality, dedication to public service, transparency, exemplarity, austerity, accessibility, efficiency, honesty, promotion of the cultural and environmental environment, and respect for equality between men and women.

Anti-Fraud Agency of Catalonia

Are you aware of a case of fraud or malpractice? The Anti-Fraud Office of Catalonia offers us a channel for reporting, guaranteeing the confidentiality of the whistleblower, thus helping to reinforce the integration of the public sector in Catalonia.

IGAE

Likewise, from the Administración del Estado the IGAE in charge of verifying, through the prior control of legality and financial control and public audit, that the economic-financial activity of the State public sector complies with the principles of legality, economy, efficiency and effectiveness.

Whistleblowing box

Law 2/2023 regulating the protection of persons who report regulatory infringements and the fight against corruption provides instructions to facilitate the reporting of any infringement or offence under European Union law. In accordance with this mandate, the CED provides a public channel for reporting offences or infringements.
