I am an economist and demographer whose research focuses on sexual minorities, family formation, and internal migration in the Global South. I hold a PhD in Demography from the University of Campinas (2022), where I explored internal migration trajectories of sexual minorities in Brazil. Currently I am a Juan de la Cierva Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Demographic Studies (CED) in Barcelona, and have contributed to the ERC-funded project “Sexual Minorities and Inequality of Opportunity” (MINEQ). My work integrates quantitative analysis of census and registry data with qualitative, life-course approaches to study social and spatial inequalities. I also regularly collaborate on international projects (World Bank, Demographic Health Survey and Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) concerning survey design, sexual orientation measurement, and LGBTQ+ inclusion.
