CED - Centro de Estudios Demográficos

Simin is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Demography at Centre d'Estudis Demográfics (CED), within the ERC project "Intergenerational Coresidence in Global Perspective: Dimensions of Change (CORESIDENCE)". Before joining the CED, Simin Obtained a BA in Sociology from Sun Yat-sen University, and an MPhil in Sociology and Demography from the University of Oxford. She participated in the European Doctoral School of Demography from 2022-2023, sponsored by the Max Planck Institute for Demography Research (MPIDR). She is interested in research on fertility, household structure, living arrangements, intergenerational processes and social inequalities.
