Sergi Trias-Llimós is a post-doctoral researcher in the Centre for Demographic Studies (CED). He is interested in lifestyle-related health outcomes, causes of death and inequalities in health and mortality. Sergi obtained his PhD in Demography from the University of Groningen (the Netherlands). Before joining the CED he worked as research fellow in epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. In addition, he has a master in Demography from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and he attended both the European Doctoral School of Demography and the European Educational Programme in Epidemiology. Sergi has publications in top field journals like the International Journal of Epidemiology or Addiction.
