Carlos holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University. His Master’s thesis focused on social inequalities caused by the emergence of new economic development models at the local scale in Spain. He has more than 5 years of professional experience in the private and public sectors doing socioeconomic research on industrial and regional development policies. He is working with Dr. Castro on the “Interconnected inequalities through the life-course in Spain” project. His doctoral research centers on the intersectional configuration of inequalities through the life course and the transmission of inequalities over generations from a quantitative perspective.
