Beyda Çineli is a sociologist with a research focus on family dynamics and social inequalities. Her earlier work primarily explored household financial organization, gender inequalities, kinship practices, and family relationships. These findings have been published in journals such as Gender & Society, Journal of Marriage and Family, and Advances in Life Course Research. In her current role as a researcher at CED, she will investigate the connections between digital inequalities and social inequalities, as part of the DIGINEQ project. She received her PhD from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2021. Prior to joining CED, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Cologne University and lecturer at Pompeu Fabra University.
