Migrations and Interculturality
Description
Interculturality has become the dominant discourse on governability of the plurality of populations in territories. This line of research mainly aims to contribute empirical evidence for the design and application of intercultural policies after studying international migrations, the cohabitation of different communities in the same territory, and the interactions arising among these communities. To this end, we take the “demographic metabolism” perspective, from which we study social change as a product of the succession of generations in the framework of Complex Demographic Systems of Reproduction and examine how they relate with social reproduction and stratification.
