Demography is the science which studies the structure and dynamics of human populations. This includes such relevant themes as fertility, families, education, work, life expectancy and migration.<\/p>\n<p>I invite you to explore the page in order to discover for yourself who we are, the work we do, and how we do it at the CED. You will find information about our research, which is organised into <a href=\"https:\/\/ced.cat\/en\/research\/groups\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">three main groups of investigation<\/a>, and the services we provide in the domain of <a href=\"https:\/\/ced.cat\/en\/research\/demografia-aplicada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">applied demography<\/a>, especially in the field of population forecasts.<\/p>\n<p>With future demographers in mind, we have posted information about the <a href=\"https:\/\/ced.cat\/en\/formacio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Master\u2019s Degree and PhD programme<\/a> which we organise jointly with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uab.cat\/departament\/geografia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Department of Geography<\/a> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uab.cat\/web\/universitat-autonoma-de-barcelona-1345467954774.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Autonomous University of Barcelona.<\/a> In order to keep up with scientific news from the CED, you can subscribe to our two periodical publications, <a href=\"https:\/\/ced.cat\/en\/difussion\/butlleti-perspectives-demografiques\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Perspectives Demogr\u00e0fiques<\/a> (detailing the latest developments in demography) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/ced.cat\/en\/difussion\/butlleti-dactivitats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bulletin Information<\/a> with news and information about activities.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you enjoy our page.
