Research Theme/s:
Momoko Nishikido holds a B.A. in Statistics and in International Studies from the University of Minnesota-Morris in the U.S. and a M.Sc. in Economic Demography from Lund University in Sweden. Sponsored by CED, she participated in the European Doctoral School of Demography (EDSD) from 2019-2020. She officially joined CED as a PhD candidate in 2020 with a FI Grant (Government of Catalonia and European Social Fund). Momoko’s research interests lie in family demography, more specifically on intermarriage and how partnership dynamics influence fertility outcomes taking a cross-national perspective.
