Visitors

The doors of the Centre for Demographic Studies are open to PhD students, researchers and lecturers who wish to visit our institution for research purposes. The Centre offers the possibility of working with one of its current research lines and projects. The CED staff members make sure that visiting researchers feel at home in the Centre and encourage their active participation in its academic and social life.

For adequate planning for such a research visit, we recommend that anyone who wishes to visit the CED should contact one of our researchers and also Inés Brancós, coordinator for training and Eulàlia Camps coordinator of research visits. The CED provides personalised information about your stay, for example concerning accommodation options, transport and timetable, as well as a good working space.

The CED does not have a regular programme for funding visits and stays at the Centre. However, researchers can work on research projects that include and permit complete or partial funding, although most visitors come after obtaining their own funding. Below, you will find a list of people who are presently visiting the CED and others who have come in recent years.
